2012 Operation Purple Family Retreats

Thank you for your interest in the 2012 Operation Purple Family Retreats. The National Military Family Association created these retreats in an effort to help military families reconnect and strengthen their relationship after deployments. The Operation Purple Family Retreats are FREE to those accepted to attend. Transportation costs are NOT included.  However, families who attend a retreat will be provided with a $200 Visa gift card at the completion of the Retreat to offset the cost of travel.

This application MUST be completed in full in order for our selection committee to review your eligibility to attend.

Operation Purple Family Retreats are open to ALL families from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, Coast Guard, and Air Force, both active duty and reserve component, as well as families of the Commissioned Corps of the US Public Health Service and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration.

Families are eligible where the service member has previously been deployed and has returned from deployment within three to fifteen months of the beginning of each retreat.

Upon acceptance, all families will be asked to complete registration and release forms required by the host organization.  These forms must be returned for your family’s registration to be considered complete.  Failure to complete and return required forms by the deadline may result in the loss of your family’s space at the Operation Purple Family Retreat.  Please note that some locations’ terrain or activity levels may make it difficult to accommodate certain special needs. We encourage you to contact the camp site if there are any questions.
